Kundalini yoga is a moving meditation. Postures are relatively easy to get in and out of, so the work isn’t in doing the poses precisely, it’s about pushing through your blocks.
When you meditate you calm your mind. When you quiet the chatter in your head you are able to recognize what’s important to you so that you can make decisions based on what feels true to you rather than making decisions based on fear or anger.
Kundalini Yoga clears the subconscious mind. We get stuck in certain behaviors that don’t serve us because they are in our subconscious or even unconscious mind. Some of these thoughts keep you stuck in your past. Attachment to what you think "should" be keep you from moving in the direction of your own happiness.
